****** Oct 2024 update ****** Lawn Doctor has taken my review seriously and is making an admirable effort to regain my confidence. They have followed up by phone and SMS on services are turning things around in a positive way. ****** Original Review ****** I've been a customer since 2008 and was consistently pleased when Michael Bischoff owned it and Jun was the foreman. In late 2022 I noticed things going down hill and then learned that ownership changed. Under the new ownership, the quality of each service is comparatively poor. When you contact them, it can take several days to get a response if you get one at all. The new owner is a stain on the Lawn Doctor brand.

THIEVES! Avoid at all costs. I ordered services and paid in February. Was told they'd be completed in early April. Only 1 of the 3 services was completed and they only did half my yard (I only knew because the back gate was locked so no way they could have done whole property). Had to call and complain to get full treatment. By the end of May, they still did not complete the other 2 treatments so I cancelled and asked for a refund. In mid June I called to check on my refund which had yet to be received. They assured me it was issued but could not tell me anything about the account that it was credited to (not even the last 4 digits of the account). They claimed they deleted all my records when I ended my service. After numerous calls I was told the refund did not go through and they would send me a check. After 3 weeks I have still not received the check. This office also does not answer the phone. Always need to leave a message and they've stopped calling me back now. Tried working through corporate office and they were not much help either. If you are thinking of using these thieves, do yourself a favor and read the other reviews. This is not an honest or reputable company. UPDATE: In response to the owner's reply...it is a total fabrication of the events. I ONLY purchased the additional services because I was promised the services could all be done in April. I was very up front that I did not want the additional services if I had to wait until Summer. Very telling that my refund has been missing for more than a month at this point and my calls are not returned...but you have the time to reply to google reviews. That's very telling of how you run your business. Have already filed a complaint with NJ BBB. If you do not provide my refund immediately, next step is court

If you listen and accept their recommendations, you will have a great lawn. Service is great. Never an issue
